Meet Our Charity Partner: The Hometown Youth Sports Fund

Student volunteers in orange shirts cheering on runners along the Hometown Half course

When you register for the Hometown Half, part of your entry goes straight back into the community. Our charity partner, the Hometown Youth Sports Fund, helps local schools cover the costs that keep kids from playing.

Where the Money Goes

  • Equipment and uniforms for school teams
  • Registration fees for students who can’t cover them
  • Travel costs for tournaments and meets

Students on the Course

Students from local school clubs volunteer on race day, staffing aid stations and cheering runners home. Look for the orange shirts along the course.

How You Can Help

Add a donation when you register, or give directly any time on our Get Involved page.
