Race morning goes smoother when the decisions are made the night before. Lay out everything on this list, then get some sleep.

The Essentials

  • Race bib, pinned to your shirt
  • Shoes and socks you’ve already trained in
  • Weather-ready layers you can toss or check
  • Watch or phone, fully charged

Fuel and Hydration

  • A familiar breakfast, eaten 2 to 3 hours before your start
  • Water to sip on the way downtown
  • Gels or chews if you’re running the Half Marathon

After the Finish

  • A dry shirt and a warm layer in your gear check bag
  • A snack for the drive home
  • Your phone for photos with your medal

Know Before You Go

Check the Race Weekend page for the race day schedule, parking and road closures. Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before your start.
